I purchased these to hang heavier hoodies and sweaters vs. storing them on my limited shelf space. I am petite so regular wooden hangers are still wide for my less-structured items. These are well made (I got the natural) and they do take up more space due to the padding, but that's what I'm buying them for. I bought the small size here and they are a good size for my hoodies. I might get one more in medium for a structured sweater coat I just bought. I highly recommend.
