Padded Pants Hangers are Here!

Hangerbee padded pants hanger

For over eleven years customers from all over the world have asked:

Do you have padded pants hangersand

Can you make a thinner padded hanger?

and I'm excited to finally tell them YES!

If you're familiar with Hangerbee, you know that quality is at the heart of our products. Over the past eleven years, every single hanger we have made (almost 22,000) has been personally checked and packed by me, owner Lindsey Smith.

So, when it came to developing a padded pants hanger, I wanted it to be "Vogue Quality". And I'm pleased to announce that our pants hangers are not only preservation safe, but they include a padded shoulder bar that is only 2" wide. This width is still adequate and even preferred for some garments.

These hangers are also closet-friendly. At only 2" wide, you can now hang a complete suit, uniform, or outfit together and have room left over for other garments!

So whether you've been waiting patiently for a padded pants hanger, or you would like a narrower padded clothes hanger, this one's for you. Each chrome hanger with chrome hook (non swivel) is padded with museum-quality polyethylene padding and three layers of 100% cotton stockinette.

I have spent over a decade trying to develop a padded pants hanger that Hangerbee could be proud of. Who knew it would be so difficult? Like all Hangerbee hangers, our pants hangers are hand-assembled, hand-sewn, and safe for long term preservation and storage. What’s not to love?

I hope you check them out.
Lindsey

Our hangers are in a behind-the-scenes photo about the Nantucket Historical Association’s new exhibition, “Behind the Seams: Clothing and Textiles on Nantucket”.

🍁 Sweater Weather 🍁

Believe it or not, fall is almost here and so is sweater weather. As you're unpacking your chunky knits and cozy coats for autumn and winter, I invite you to check out how Hangerbee hangers can keep your clothes looking fresh and ready-to-wear all year long.

Our customers swear by our museum-quality, hand-assembled padded clothing hangers, high-quality, cotton garment bags, and preservation essentials to keep their sweaters, coats, wedding gowns, and all sorts of garments safe from shoulder bumps, dusty creases, and more. Here's what a couple recent customers had to say:

Exhibitsmith Podcast Graphic What do Librarians do all day School Edition

I recently had a fantastic conversation on the Exhibitsmith podcast with Jill Sullivan-Bennin, the District Library Media Specialist for the Sherrard Community School District in Western Illinois.

Do you know what a school librarian does all day? How about a librarian in charge of *four* school libraries? Jill has overseen the library activities for all four buildings in her rural school district since 2014. Jill and her small staff of library aids have developed a robust library program and as the only dedicated, full-time library staff for the entire district, she definitely wears many hats. Working in a small school district, especially one with a large geographical footprint like Sherrard’s, has its own challenges and opportunities, which Jill shares with us. I learned a lot from the conversation and I bet you will, too!

Find Exhibitsmith the Podcast on all major platforms or listen directly from exhibitsmith.com.

I also invite you to check out my “From the Archives” videos on You Tube and social media. Recent features include 1980s nostalgia, 1950s Broadway Playbills, and 19th photographs. The videos are short and fun! Subscribe today.

out my upcoming "Downsizing Heirlooms and Collectibles" program. This event has been very popular over the past year and a half and I hope you consider signing up. For more information and to register, please visit the Course Listing on the Main Line School Night website.
