A Rare Sales Event & Heirlooms Don't Have to Be Pretty

A Rare Sales Event & Heirlooms Don't Have to Be Pretty

Well, it's Cyber Monday and the big week of shopping is well underway. I don't know about you, but I've spent a LOT of money since Friday - and I've grabbed some great deals. This week always makes me a little sad, though, because I wish I could plaster the internet with amazing Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and/or Cyber Monday sales. However, I just can't swing it without losing money.
As a small business owner whose signature products are mostly handmade/hand assembled, our profit margins are already pretty tight. Hangerbee is also too small to qualify for the deep shipping discounts we all know and love, which is a real bummer.
Anyway, even though I can't offer huge discounts or free shipping, we're doing what we can to help you save this time of year - and I hope you take advantage of it. Our pin sets, preservation kits, downloadable Take Control of Your Stuff Guide(!), and more are on sale here at Hangerbee.com (and at etsy.com/shop/Hangerbee).
Thanks in advance for your support. Our products are all designed to help you, and I want to help as many people as possible.
Shop small, shop local, shop preservation. Thank you! - Lindsey

On the Podcast:

This month I'm rereleasing one of my favorite family heirloom stories. I hope you enjoy it! It reminds us that sometimes the objects that are important to you aren't the prettiest.

Sometimes they're best left in a box, but that doesn't mean they're unimportant or forgotten. In this episode, hear the heartwarming story about an unfortunate-looking bank and its sweet history, and learn three important questions to ask yourself about the past, present, and future of your possessions, as you decide what to keep and why. This is a short and sweet episode about a very unfortunate looking heirloom. I hope you check out this favorite from Season One.

Thank you for a another wonderful year filled with wonderful memories, new projects, and preservation. I wish you all a wonderful end of 2025 and a beautiful 2026.
- Lindsey
